Dubai Introduces Priority Services for Residents with Perfect Visa Compliance Record

UAE visa rewards

Dubai has launched a new initiative offering exclusive benefits to residents with a spotless 10-year visa compliance record, rewarding them with priority services at key government centers. Announced by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai (GDRFA-Dubai), this campaign, titled “The Ideal Face,” aims to encourage adherence to visa regulations while enhancing Dubai’s sense of community and security.

Rewards for Law-Abiding Residents

Eligible residents, including those on work visas or under sponsorship, can now enjoy faster processing at Amer centers, priority support via the Ammer call center, and at-home visa renewal services for elderly residents.

The initiative extends to Emirati sponsors who have maintained compliant records with their employees, reflecting Dubai’s commitment to recognizing law-abiding individuals in the community. Electronic Visa Requirements for GCC Residents have also been emphasized to streamline processes and maintain compliance within the region. Lt. Gen. Mohammed Al Marri, director general of GDRFA-Dubai, emphasized that the campaign aligns with Dubai’s vision of a “happy and sustainable society.” Al-Marri explained, “Encouraging positive behavior within the residency framework not only fosters compliance but also promotes a community-driven sense of responsibility.”

To qualify for these rewards, eligible residents must submit an “obligation certificate” on the GDRFA-Dubai website. Upon verification, a digital certificate will be issued, marking them as compliant members. Breaches that may affect eligibility include delayed renewals of UAE residence visas or Emirates IDs and accumulating overstay fines.

This initiative aligns with Dubai’s ongoing two-month visa amnesty program, which grants visa overstayers the chance to regularize their status or leave without penalties.
Industry experts see “The Ideal Face” campaign as a positive reinforcement strategy, enhancing Dubai’s image as a welcoming city that values its long-term residents. Resident Mukhtar Saad, a

Moroccan national, praised the initiative, noting, “It’s a thoughtful approach that encourages compliance and shows respect for residents who follow the rules.”

For long-term residents, these priority services reflect Dubai’s commitment to fostering a safe and cooperative community. Those with a history of visa compliance can look forward to a more seamless experience in managing their residency.
